Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing the existing school base through excellent customer relations with Business Managers, Bursars, Head Teachers and Catering Managers.

  • Introducing new, schools, academies and MATS to our many services

  • Prospect new business from various sources.

  • Planning, organising and making your own appointments.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Preferable record of working in sales.

  • Territory planning ability essential.

  • Knowledge of the educational catering industry desirable.

  • Experience of working with MATS, academies and schools desirable.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Computer literate.

  • Clean driving licence.

Other information:

  • Derby/East and West Midlands

  • Term-time only

Admin Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Admin Assistant to:

  • be the positive, friendly ‘voice’ of Dukefield Foodservice when providing customer service to our schools;

  • support our field sales team with telephone enquiries and general admin duties;

  • administration of our various training courses;

  • maintain databases and excel spreadsheets;

  • liaising with our suppliers via email and telephone;

  • maintain information on our paperless kitchen software;

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail

  • A good aptitude for figures

  • The ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

  • A high-level of interpersonal skills and a strong ‘can do’ attitude is essential.

  • Excellent customer service skills
